What we do

About us

A vital element, aluminium, has been recycled for years since it was first commercially manufactured and even today aluminium translates into high recycling. rates for the various applications. Axayya Alloys, we are a leading manufacturer of primary and secondary aluminium casting alloy situated in the prime location of Chakan, Pune, India.

Incorporated by Mr. N. N. Kher in 1981, the company was a manufacture of aluminum, copper, zinc based alloys along with master alloys. In 2008 Mr. Manoharlal Lodha who has a vast experience in trading and recycling of metals took over the company. metals.

The company is currently headed by Managing Director, Mr. Pavan Lodha and Executive Director Mitesh Lodha with whom the company has evolved as a leading supplier of aluminum cast alloys. With immense knowledge and years of aluminium recycling, we have developed with advancement and a high tech cast house at Kharabwadi, Chakan, Pune.

  • Respect and protect the environment.
  • Produce cost effective high quality products.
  • Meet changing needs and desires of our clients.

We carry out a number of tests to ensure our quality

Microstructure Test

Microstructure is the structure of a metal or alloy as observed, after etching and polishing, under a high degree of magnification. The microstructure is one of the most important factors that affect the physical properties of the metal/ alloy. So, by knowing the microstructure, we can predict the behaviour of a component made of a particular material. This is also important while predicting the failure of a component in certain conditions.

Strength Test

Fracture toughness (KIc) refers to the ability of a material containing a crack to resist fracture. Specifically, fracture toughness testing characterizes resistance to fracture in a neutral environment with a sharp crack, and is one of the most important properties of any material for virtually all design applications. It is calculated in terms of the load required to cause a crack. The result is expressed in terms of toughness parameters such as KIc, critical J or critical CTOD. As the demand for steel increases we keep a close watch on our metal cleanliness to create a distinctive product as well as a way to optimize our production costs. Added pressures are found from automotive, aerospace, and oil and gas customers, who require cleaner steel today than in years past. Therefore, being a successful steel company, we focus on developing cleaner steel practices with a low production cost. It all begins with controlling unwanted inclusions. Tensile testing, also known as tension testing, is a fundamental materials science and engineering test in which a sample is subjected to a controlled tension until failure. Properties that are directly measured via a tensile test are ultimate tensile strength, breaking strength, maximum elongation and reduction in area. Uniaxial tensile testing is the most commonly used for obtaining the mechanical characteristics of isotropic materials. Some materials use biaxial tensile testing.
